Belfast is the capital, the largest and the most populous city in Northern Ireland. From Scotland, Belfast is accessible via Stena Line ferry which operates across the Irish Sea between the ferry port in Stranrear (Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland) and the ferry port in Belfast (Northern Ireland). The ferry service include private travel and freight.

In Belfast, staying at the Culloden Estate & Spa is highly recommended. One of the interesting facts about the hotel is that one of its wings was opened by tennis legends Bjorn Borg and Pat Cash on 21st February 2008.

Belfast city features quite a number of tourist attractions such as the Belfast City Hall with The Big Wheel situated next to it.

Belfast Castle, built in the late 12th century by the Normans, is located in the Cave Hill area of north Belfast. It is one of the city’s most famous landmarks and its location provides unobstructed views of the city of Belfast and Belfast Lough. Belfast Castle is now open to public and it has the license to hold both marriage and civil partnership ceremonies. The castle makes the perfect backdrop for fairytale weddings.

Titanic’s Dock and Pump-House, located not far away from the city center , is made up of a 7-acre scheduled monument site which includes the Thompson Dry Dock and its associated Pump-House. The Pump-House was once the beating heart of Harland & Wolffs operation during the construction of the great and most famously the RMS Titanic.
