Anna Stadium located at Race Course Road, Lourdh Swamy Colony in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India is a stadium that hasn’t changed much since it was built in 1974. Maintained by the Tiruchirappalli District Sports Council, the stadium provides a mini swimming pool, a netball court, a volleyball court, a football field, an oval running track, a hockey field and an indoor badminton court. The stadium is crying for modern type of facilities. Most of the facilities are quite old and ‘ala kadar’, but then… bolehlah. Better something than nothing, no?
