Details:

Marine Drive or famously known as The Queen’s Necklace, is a 3-kilometre-long boulevar situated over reclaimed land facing the Arabian Sea in the southern part of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is called The Queen’s Necklace because of its C-shape and when at sunset, it glistens like a string of pearls with a thousand lights at night. The road links Nariman Point to Babulnath and Malabar Hill.

The Oberoi Trident Hotel, located at Nariman Point, is one of the locations that had been hit by the heinous terrorist attack on 26 November 2008.

Taraporewala Aquarium (named after Mr. Taporewala, a Parsi philanthropist who was the person behind the setting up the aquarium) is located on the Marine Drive. It houses a good collection of sea and fresh water fish and other marine life.
